Looking for some Easter crochet inspiration? Come on in my lovely as I’ve gathered some great Easter-themed crochet projects – best of all, they’re all free!
Easter chick baby hat by Jane Chan
This gorgeous Easter chick hat by Jane Chan is written in three sizes so you can have a nest full of tweeting cuties this Easter! You can download the pattern for easy printing and you’ll need some yellow and orange DK yarn and a size 6mm crochet hook – my favourite hooks are Clover Amour, which you can buy here.
Lace egg wraps by Kara (from Petals to Picots)
These delicate lacy Easter egg wraps are brilliant as you can use them year after year! You can get the free crochet pattern over at Petals to Picots, here. You’ll need some size 10 crochet thread – there’s a great value pack of ten different colours, here (so you can make lots of yummy colours). You’ll also need a 2mm crochet hook, once again I recommend a Clover Amour hook for comfort, you can buy the 2mm hook, here.
Crochet bunny basket by San (from Loopsan)
The great thing about this free bunny basket crochet pattern is that there’s a ton of photos to help you along – so it’s perfect for beginners!
You’ll need some cream or white DK yarn, I can recommend Korbond as it’s hypoallergenic, durable, and great value for money – you can buy the yarn, here. You’ll also need a 6.5mm crochet hook for this project.
Amigurumi bunny and chick by Mei Li Lee (from Amigurumei)
If you want to crochet something a little bit different this Easter, why not have a go at Haru-chan and her pet chick, Chioux? From the fabulous Mei Li Lee in Malaysia, comes another cute amigurumi project. Whether you want to cut your amigurumi teeth on a project, or you want a quick gift to work up for Easter, this free pattern is bang on trend.
You’ll need a 2.5mm crochet hook, and several different colour yarns (not much is needed, but see the pattern for full materials list).
